Kendall Central Oregon Celebrates a Week of Western Tradition at the 2026 Crooked River Roundup!

June 30th, 2026 by
From supporting local youth to celebrating rodeo traditions, the 2026 Crooked River Roundup was a week to remember. Kendall Auto Central Oregon was proud to partner with several events throughout the week, celebrating the people, organizations, and traditions that make this community so special.
The festivities began at the annual Rural Oregon Community Foundation Dinner & Dance, where Kendall was honored to serve as a sponsor and join community members in support of the foundation’s mission: preserving the Western Way of Life. Through scholarships and educational programs, the Rural Oregon Community Foundation invests in youth pursuing futures in ranching, agriculture, farming, rodeo, and animal health and welfare.
The evening was a tremendous success, raising more than $190,000 to support these impactful programs. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the event possible, especially the dedicated volunteers, including the many FFA and 4-H students whose hard work helped create such a memorable evening.
The excitement continued with three unforgettable nights at the Crooked River Roundup Rodeo. Kendall was proud to provide the barrel truck, giving our team the opportunity to kick off each performance by launching T-shirts into the crowd and tossing cowboy hats to excited fans. Joining us each night were rodeo queens and princesses from across Oregon, helping create an energetic start to every rodeo performance.
Despite some unpredictable weather, the stands were filled with enthusiastic fans, and the athletes delivered incredible performances that showcased the skill, dedication, and tradition of rodeo.
The week wrapped up with the annual Crooked River Roundup Parade, where Kendall proudly joined the Crooked River Roundup board and volunteers in celebrating this year’s theme, 250 Years of America. Decked out in red, white, and blue, our barrel truck rolled through downtown Prineville as thousands gathered to celebrate Independence Day and another successful rodeo week.
We are incredibly grateful to the Crooked River Roundup board, volunteers, sponsors, athletes, and community members who make this event possible year after year. Thank you for allowing Kendall to be part of such a meaningful tradition. We also want to recognize our incredible Kendall team members, whose enthusiasm and dedication helped make this week so memorable.
Not to worry, the fun with the Crooked River Roundup doesn’t stop here! Join us at the Crook County Fairgrounds July 15th – 18th for the Parimutuel Horse Races.  This event brings together community members and visitors to witness the athleticism of some of the fastest horses and best jockeys in the Northwest, and the Races attract the largest daily attendance of any track in Oregon. Kendall Auto Central Oregon is a proud supporter of Ladies Night on Wednesday, July 15th, where women get in for free! For more information, please visit: the Crooked River Round Up website.
