Kendall Central Oregon Partners with Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office Shop with a Cop Event!

Our Kendall Central Oregon Team is thrilled to announce we will be partnering with the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Department annual Shop with a Cop event as a part of our 12 Days of Caring. This heartwarming event pairs local law enforcement with children in need for a special holiday shopping experience. It’s 100% funded by community donations—no tax dollars are used. Each year, deputies and volunteers team up to provide children in need with a memorable shopping experience, helping them select warm clothing, school supplies, and a few special gifts. With a goal of supporting nearly 100 children and their families this year, we are leaning on our community to help make it happen!

Why It Matters:

For many families, the Holidays can be tough. This program meets real needs and creates lasting memories—reminding kids that their community cares. The children selected for this program will have the opportunity to shop with a Deputy or volunteer for essential items and gifts for their families. After they are done shopping, they will drop their gifts off at the wrapping station, where the Kendall team will wrap presents for them to take home! While our team is packaging everything up with Holiday magic, the kids will get to eat lunch with their Deputy and volunteers.
